This policy explains what Xervs collects, why it is used and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are
Xervs is an online marketplace operated by Edge Technology Solutions in Namibia. We connect customers with independent sellers and service providers. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@xervs.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, listing or booking a service, applying as a seller, contacting support, or making a payment. This may include your name, contact details, account identifiers, booking details, business information, approximate location, uploaded content and communications. Our systems also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser information, request logs and security events.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. Xervs does not store your full card number or card verification value. The payment provider may process payment and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the marketplace, fulfil bookings, process payments, communicate with you, support customers and sellers, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, improve our services and maintain business records. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. When we share information
We share information only as reasonably necessary with the seller or customer involved in a transaction, payment and cloud-service providers, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, and a successor in a merger or sale. We do not sell personal information.
6. Storage and international processing
Our service providers may store or process information outside Namibia. We select providers with appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. We retain account and transaction information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, legal requirements, disputes and fraud prevention, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted production credentials, audit logging and other safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a portable copy where applicable. Some records may be retained where required by law or necessary for legitimate claims. Email your request to support@xervs.com; we may verify your identity before responding.
9. Cookies and children
We use essential cookies for sign-in, security and session functionality. Xervs is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without appropriate authorisation.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
